Grit chambers are devices that collect sand or silt, and in particular, as used to treat the bentonite in subterranean works, so that the sand that comes with bentonite muds is removed. It is a compact kind of equipment, similar to sand washers. Made up of a tank, a pump, a cyclone, and a dewatering device. With this equipment we have been able to separate sand grains of over 30 or 74 microns, thereby drastically reducing the amount of sand in the recovered bentonite. SEE .PDF BROCHURE (in Spanish)
